Unfulfilled Promise

I have been hoping for some time that CBS would finally launch an app. Imagine my happiness when I found it! I quickly downloaded it and opened it, eager to see what it had to offer. But, the excitement fizzled when I realized that not all current episodes of CBS biggest hits are available and that NONE of The Mentalist episodes are unless you buy them! The other networks do not do that! The app is very sluggish and it crashes as well.

CBS still does not understand how to deliver. I will not make an in app purchase of an episode. I already have to watch the ads!

An update to this review dated October 2nd -

The new season has brought even more restricted availability of shows. Hardly any programs are available as full episodes. This is ridiculous and a very out of touch approach!!!

Get with it CBS!
