Apple TV is horrible

I cannot watch a show on the app in Apple TV.

I am forced to watch it on the main tv app for Apple TV, which I am not a fan of because you cannot resume where you left off. I tried and had to fast forward. Problem though ... 10 min into fast forwarding it kicked me back to the CBS app which just shows my profile and allows me to manage.

I feel like I paid for the premium service for nothing.
