Not worth the money. Hulu is better to me
After update doesnt work on my phone at all. Also when i watch tv on this app i dont get good resolution due to the bandwith consumption. Netflix and hulu never do this. Why does this app do this?
On both my phone and Apple TV. This is the most disappointing app I have ever used. My Apple TV just loops over and over on my subscription that IT says I am signed in for and when I attempt to use it, it asks me to buy or sign in. This cycle never stop. I am very disappointed.
Paying for cbs all access and only getting annoyed by how much it crashes and freezes. The audio goes ahead of image or goes on with no image. Dont blame it on internet connection because other apps dont do this. Pls learn a thing or two from Netflix and Hulu, not only the charging part. Thanks! I will be canceling membership.
This is CBS trying to pioneer some sort of dystopian future for television watchers in which the standard networks nickel and dime their customers for access to their mediocre programming. Dont let this model succeed; dont give them a dime!
Neither the iPhone app nor the iPad app is navigable if [IF] they even open. I pay for All Access and get Zero Access on my devices.
Charging to watch an app you can watch for free is ridiculous!!! Really??? Wow I have to pay 7 bucks a month to watch a national broadcast channel? I could see for hgtv or ESPN or something but for a local channel that even if you dont have any type of cable or satellite is a complete joke!!! And I do have it but I cant just sign in I have to pay extra for it? I dont care about the on demand I could care less I just wanted to watch the national championship game which I can on my tablet for free on the NCAA march madness app w my subscription to direct tv but try and watch it on my tv like a normal person and you cant!! Im out of state and they crappy motel has tube tvs so Ive been watching all the other apps under the sun for free since I have direct tv but can I watch a nationally televised game? Nope sure cant!! FU CBS FU!!! I dont really watch your sitcoms or shows anyways ABC is wayyyyy better and NBC to!!!
Earth to CBS, you are a network TV company, providing effing "network" qualility TV programs. No, I will not pay what I would pay Hulu, Netflix, or HBO for the "privilege" of having mobile access to your crappy shows for which I have (unfortunately) already paid my cable provider. I do, however, occasionally enjoy watching sports; like, for example, the NCAA final. And it pisses me off that I cant watch it on my iPad (I wont say for free, because, as I said before, I already paid). ABC, FOX, and NBC have worked this crap out. Seriously, folks, you need to follow suit; because it comes off as greed or incompetence, and I doubt youd like to be known as either.
I already pay for CBS on my TV. It seems that if you enter your TV information, then you should be able to watch it on the app for free. I already pay to have the channel on my TV. Im not paying extra for something I already payed for!
Worst app Ive ever seen!!!! CBS must stand for compete-BS!!!! Now I know why America has lost its foundation!!! The 4th branch of our government is DEAD!!! Because of CUNTS LIKE YOU!!!
P.O.O.R. Cant believe cbs released this on the public. Have tried on all devices, desktop, iPad, internet tv, laptop and w/ hard line and wifi on 2.4 and 5.0 signals to no avail. Rebooted everything etc.... "Fuhgeddaboutit"
Love being able to stream and cast when I miss an episode of a favorite show. Not willing to be blackmailed into paying every month to watch once every week or so, even if the commercials are so much louder than the program that it scares my dog awake!
So stupid. Bundle on Hulu if you want subscription fees. Use advertising like you have for decades for your own station. This is a rip off. Anything over .99 is stupid to pay for a single channel.
All the other broadcast networks offer subscription through your TV service at no additional charge. Do not support these people.
IM DELETING THIS APP!!! If I could give a negative star rating it would be a negative 4 out of 5 where I once gave it a very 5 star positive rating. And its not because I think they report the news poorly or present a biased view but they have recently introduced commercial after commercial after commercial after... you get the point. It is worse then watching a live broadcast. For a while they paid attention to the viewers overwhelming negative revolt to CBS introduction of commercials and backed off that practice. Then I noticed they inserted them on only the weekend episodes now its every day 6-12 commercials every episode repeating themselves on every broadcast with no way for you to opt out or fast forward thru them, like you can fast-forward or scroll thru the broadcast. What type of message does that convey that they will let you bypass their programming but how dare you try and skip our ads. I GIVE UP!!! Dont waste your time anymore, dont download this app and if you already have it, delete it in protest for a week and try one of the other nightly news apps. NBC is pretty good. Give it a try during your protest week and hey you may decide you like it better and decide to never come back. FU CBS!!!
Ive been using free app for a couple weeks to catch up on Colbert and Cordon. Biggest complaint is sound. Commercials vary in volume (some SUPER LOUD), making it frustrating that you cant walk away for a minute or youll be running back to try not to disturb neighbors/family members
By far this app buffers and lags more than any other streaming service I have ever used! I wish I was the type of person to ask for my $ back. Forget about enjoying LIVE television on this app.
Cant watch live TV.
I just signed up for ad-free CBS All Access. To watch an episode of "The Good Fight" I had to sit through one minute and 32 seconds of an ad for CBS All Access. Not the best use of their advertising dollar.
This is $10. Hulu without commercials is what, $12? This doesnt even offer you TV real time as it claims. Its not worth the $10/mo but I seem to be paying it. Im reconsidering it. Soemtimes, regardless of the price, you still get to enjoy commercials </sarcasm>
