New review: the CBS app is the only app Ive ever encountered that does not allow you to paste your password when you sign in. This is infuriating because I use 1password to create a complex password that cannot be easily typed. It wouldnt be a big deal except that CBS is also the only app that randomly signs you out of All Access! Hulu, Netflix allow you to stay logged in (and allow you to paste in your password). Not CBS! Very annoying. And still commercials! Old (now fixed): People are complaining about all access requirements, but this app is now really meant for cord cutters like myself. Now I can watch new episodes day of instead of waiting a week or sitting in front of my computer. The biggest problem is the lack of a resume option. If you switch to another app or use your computer, youre going back to the beginning of the episode you were watching. This is annoying especially since you have to sit through all the commercials again. Hulu and Netflix have resume. Why cant CBS?

I signed up to try. Didnt like it at all. But thats not my real gripe. I was unable to cancel before the paid subscription started. Why? Because the mobile app wont let you. The desktop app wont let you. And no one will answer the phone. Nice way to make money cbs. Too bad your service is nowhere near as good as some of your shows. Pathetic.

Costs almost as much as the massive video libraries of Netflix or Amazon Prime, but only CBS shows, and not even all of them or even all of the seasons of the limited shows that available. Also...lots of bugs and you pay to watch commercials.

Just have to say that Im extremely disappointed with this app. If I didnt need to find a way to see current CBS shows, I would not have this app. It often gets hung up, if I rewind to watch something I missed I need to go through the commercials over and over again - unlike other apps, theres no option to pay extra for no commercials, and I often have to exit the app altogether because it freezes up so much. Im desperately searching for other alternatives so I can dump this app and subscription. Please fix!

Why does this app not shut off? If you pause it, it never lets anything go to sleep. Just drains your batteries! Absolutely poor design. Commercials are insanely loud, just another purposefully annoying tactic that, regardless of how much users complain, they never change!

CBS is nothing but money grubbing scum. To actually make you PAY to watch their shows.... Are you serious??? What makes it even worse (if thats possible...), the app is buggier than a mattress in a "by the hour" hotel. Id give it no stars if it was possible....

I understand wanting to cover your costs for storage and streaming, and your ability to collect $7 per month from what could possibly be hundreds of thousands of customers is made easy with iTunes, BUT, to demand a monthly fee for recently broadcast shows and then have paid commercial breaks in the shows that you are already collecting money for is beyond ridiculous! Greed will be the downfall of our civilization! What has happened to customer service?!? Lets try to focus on delivering content for either a fee-based membership with no commercials, or a free membership that is ad supported, but not both! There is, and never has been, a thing such as free TV, but there will also not be a any double dipping with fees and ads!

There are a number of things that CBS Interactive can do to make a better user experience. That they still havent done them makes it pretty clear the they dont care. * The iOS app doesnt give a full native experience in terms of listening for notifications from iOS peripherals (i.e.; turning off the app on an iPhone or iPad via the buttons on your headphones), ability to handle calls, etc... gracefully. * The price for All Access is higher than Id expect for something with this many ads for the subscribers. * Connectivity is spotty, sometimes it wont work or shows that you may have paid for may not be available and theres not much information. * Support exists, but Ive only gotten them to help me pay for All Access, but not for any issues with the app.

We should not need to pay a subscription fee if we have TWC or another cable tv provider because they are already paying for our subscription. Another thing is there should be a way that we can download the TV shows and Movies so that we can watch them offline.

Too many commercials! And too often! Will not continue subscription.

This app will cause my Chromecast to crash and reset during the commercials Im paying seven bucks a month to endure. When I go to replay the video, the "pick up where you left off" option doesnt work, and trying to scroll through to find my place in the episode is a nightmare as it forces me to watch four commercials every time it goes to load. The audio of the commercials can be at absurdly loud levels compared to the volume of the show Im watching.

I have followed directions but can not cancel. Keep getting a website with a phone number to call and cancel. Very misleading. iTunes does not help. Can not locate the subscription in my Apple Account.

The CBS app is a joke. Get onboard and slap all your shows on hulu already. You cant avoid the inevitable.

You have to pay to watch shows that you would normally see for free. Abc or nbc apps are free and better!

I dont mine the 6.99 a month but I will not pay that and still have commercials. One or the other not both!

Very disappointed that the app is making you pay to watch a program. I will not pay so I will just continue to watch my other apps and delete CBS from my phone. I mean we already have to enter our cable provider so why would I waste more money when I already have this channel at home.

You will enjoy this app if commercials are your favorite thing. Or if watching the same commercial over and over is your favorite thing. Skip It!!!

I think its lame to charge a fee, but at least if I am going to pay, I should not have to watch so many ads. Also, having the Geico ads blare at double volume makes me dislike both CBS and Geico

Currently out of town and wanted to watch Y&R but it was only showing old episodes and in my history I had at least watched one from this month (April), but was only showing my 2015 seen episodes. All this trouble to watch one show!?!? Well... Good reason for me to cancel the subscription and cable!!! Gracias for helping slash my expenditures!
