Saddened as CBS is the most watched network but has one of the worst mobile apps out today

Mobile app image quality is poor, Apple TV app skips 2 minutes every segment. Plus commercials when Im paying for content? Will not renew after first month.

Inconsistent streaming quality, as others have noted, frequent audio drop outs, and worst of all, the ads usually stream in loud and clear while the content often stutters through. I tried this for a while and then decided to stop paying. You can upgrade to the ad-free level on Hulu for a few $$$ a month and although you wont get all the CBS content there, CBS isnt unique enough for me to spend the $$ plus watch ads with mediocre streaming.

You pay and you still get commercials. Plus it doesnt have the full season it only show the last 5 recent episodes. Plus app has advertising. Honestly why is this not free!

Pay monthly and deal with commercials? Ridiculous. I guess you cant expect much else from a giant corporation but you would think looking at other reviews there would be many more happy users if there were no commercials or dont charge monthly and then sale the commercials for more.

No way to verify provider within app or cancel subscription. No live TV in my area revealed only after sign-up. Ads??With paid subscription? Too big to fail ..Eh?

Greedy, double dipping (making you pay as much as Netflix AND watch commercials... Also if you already pay for CBS with cable package this is a separate charge) the app isnt even actually worth $8 a month. Good thing the Big Bang theory is going downhill! I can just avoid CBS now

Ways to make this app better: Stop the commercials for a paid app. If cbs insists that consumers have to watch commercials, have the decency to add some variety. The same commercial back to back is unsatisfactory. Fix the glitch that fast forwards shows for no reason. Additionally, the "rewind" function is horrible too. I feel like cbs is forcing me to watch even more commercials when I want to rewind. This app is bad in so many ways. Reminds me of when apps first starting coming out in 2008. My 4th grade daughter could build a better app. Not worth the money or wasted time

hopefully cbs corrects its cranial rectal inversion and removes the ads, this could actually be good.

This is the worst app! It constantly kicks you out of shows you are watching. You also have to re sign in every week!!? Why?? I only have it to live stream a couple of shows I dont want to wait for but tonight that service is not available. Then what am I paying for?! Big miss CBS.

Just unrealistic. If I can get something on their website I better get the same thing in the app. Does not work as expected. Come on CBS.

As others have mentioned, to have to pay but also be subject to commercials is weak. Now want to cancel and there appears to be no way to cancel (or otherwise change account settings) without "contacting support." I guess theyre trying to be a roach motel to capture their $5.99/month, so buyer beware!

The shows I want to watch require a subscription and from the reviews it sounds like there are ads on the shows even after you pay a monthly subscription fee. I will not be subscribing and will be removing this app from all of my devices. Pretty crappy, CBS.

Interesting that they ask you to pay for a subscription, but still show you ads. Youd think the app would at least have features that most other streaming apps have (e.g. quick remind button, ability to auto play seasons, etc.). On top of not having those features, the app is quite buggy and often freezes (requiring you to restart and watch many ads yet again). If you are going to charge for tv shows that are available free with an antenna, at least make sure the app is up-to-par.

I even paid for All Access, which they should called Kinda Sorta Sometimes for Two Minute Intervals at a Time Access

I can’t wait until the few CBS shows I watch (e.g. The Good Wife) end, so I can stop using this app. It’s that bad, even relative to other less-than-impressive options on the still-developing Apple TV platform: Just a sample of the problems: - Slow to add new episodes - Even after paying, you watch a lot of commercials - Occasionally freezes, even with good bandwidth - Freezes whenever playing live streams at midnight every night, forcing quit/restart of the stream. - Poor ability to scrub through shows with the remote. - Sometimes jerky video (when other services work fine) - Periodically hassles you to sign in again even though you have never signed out: everything continues to work if you ignore it, so I’m not sure what the point is. - If you leave the app while watching a live stream, it will sometimes not let you do anything in the app when you return to it, so you have to force quit it and restart. Bottom line: lazily coded and poorly maintained garbage, through and through.

I have the top tier att unversed package and was getting cbs all access through my service with att. Went to watch today and it wants me to pay - doesnt give me the option to sign in with subscriber anymore. Account settings does not have a subscriber setting either. I can get anything anymore and nit willing to pay when I already pay att!!! Terrible terrible terrible !!! No contact information for support or anything
