You have to pay to watch the shows with a million commercials, but worse yet is they dont give you all episodes. Signed up to catch up on Big Bang Theory and they give 7 random episodes to make it impossible to catch up. Save your time and money.

So we signed up solely to watch things live on our tv (awards shows, sports, etc) and it turns out you cant chromecast live events. Glad we got a seven day trial because the second were done watching the Tonys on my iPad were dropping the service.
I got the cbs all access to watch the Tony Awards but it said it couldnt find my location. The ad says watch it live with cbs all access. So why cant I watch it? I dont have a tv provider and if I did I wouldnt need to pay for this app when I would already be paying for the service and right now I would be watching the Tony Awards. If its on a day delay it should say that. The regular cbs app runs a day later for free. Im on the free trial right now so Ill decide if Ill keep this or not.
When I try to cast Live TV, the app says CBS Full Access and the TV says Ready to Cast. I have reloaded, restarted, and uninstalled/reinstalled to no avail. And yes, I paid for the subscription. However, Im about to cancel it because it will not cast. Come on CBS!
When you stopped the free cbs.com. I just stopped watching a lot of your programs. Anything I would be upset about missing a week of. I just skip all together. We use to spend about 99% of our TV time watching CBS. Not any more. Doubt if we watch 30%. Reading these reviews I am very glad we didnt opt to spend the money for the app.
Upset. For some reason I am not able to watch live unless it is on my phone. Unable to cast live to my chrome cast. Im paying for this. Why does it not work???
I was using this app to watch survivor for free but with commercials. I didnt mind the commercials too much because the episodes were free. Recently though I went to watch the season finale and it wouldnt allow me unless I signed up for a paid subscription (with commercials still) or an outrageously priced monthly subscription without them. I am immediately deleting this app. Not worth the time, and definitely not worth the money.

This APP is worse that imaginable. So many more commercials than regular TV. And the "FULL EPISODES" what a joke. During the streaming it buffers in every other sentence, except during ALL THE COMMERCIALS!!! Even the voice and picture are not in sync. Why does CBS think they can charge $5.99 a month for this junk?
Sooooo many commercials!!!! They dont even have all of the episodes of some shows. One show I watch goes from episode 15 and skips to 24! What the heck!
I have very fast wifi, clock over 50mbps consistently. Crashes quite a bit, pixelates, audio gets out of sync. Its also the oldest player ever - just a slider, no skip forward/back button, no Bluetooth controls. Captions are often far out of sync with the playback. Dont bother paying for this app until they improve it A LOT. Too many great shows for a lot less money on Netflix, Amazon or Hulu. They try to charge almost as much as HBO Go!!
I rarely write reviews. I use Netflix, VUDU, HBO NOW, ABC, NBC, PS VUE, Amazon Prime and many more. This is by far the worst delivered service ever. Commercials hang up, the show skips (like VHS tapes used to), or stops all together and its very slow to load. Im baffled that a company this big in the year 2017 can roll out such a horrible online service. Im even more surprised anyone would pay real money for this... Its a shame too because the content is good, but to compete in this market they need to do much better than this. Im your prime customer, someone who is willing to pay a subscription for good content. However, no content is good enough to make customers go through such a horrible user experience getting it.

I love so many CBS shows, so many that I actually pay for All Access. But I am beginning to wonder why, as it is not viewing friendly. This app will not autoplay to the next episode - so when you finish one episode, you spend a ridiculous amount of time navigating back to the show, scrolling down to find the season you are on, then scrolling to the episode you just finished, if you can remember it by that time! I may be canceling this "premium" access and just use my other options...Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. Get with the times CBS!!
1) Why am I paying for an app that is so convoluted and difficult to navigate and lags?! 2) Why am I paying for an app that constantly crashes? And when I contact customer "support" Im told to delete the app and reinstall?! This has happened multiple times.
