The app still advertises that you can chromcast shows, but I cannot on my iPad. The logo option no longer even appears. Thats a real shame because it was the main reason that I watch shows on the app.

Would someone please explain why I cant provide my DIRECTV login info to watch all the shows I wanna watch, like I do w the other network tv apps?!?!?

Terrible app. It fails constantly at all stages of use. If I can even get to the video, its frequently choppy or stops and has to be reloaded every few minutes. Im using an iPhone 7 with all the latest updates. I dont have these problems with any other networks app. I cant believe this is still a thing.

The only way to use this is to pay. Doesnt allow you to stream if you already pay for cable subscription. Just not worth it.

Nothing wrong with the performance of the app, its used for Evening News, but the promos for the sickening violent shows means the app has to go. Commercials are one thing, somebody has to pay the freight, but the reason for using apps is to avoid violence and pyrotechnic waste on tv shows. The audience who wants that will find it. For others it makes our skin crawl, and looking aside doesnt work. Dont think of an elephant.

I watch a lot of shows and use a lot of streaming apps (Netflix, YouTube, AMC, ABC, etc.). None have more streaming issues than the CBS app. The sound is constantly jittery and impossible to understand for minutes at a time. The commercials work perfectly, though. I know its not my internet since all other apps are fine and the ads dont have any issues. This app really ruins the watching experience and makes me seriously consider abandoning all CBS shows. The poor app experience greatly outweighs the show quality and turns the entire evening into a frustrating mess.

I will not be watching ANYTHING on CBS as long as Stephen Colbert remains on CBS. And Im uninstalling this crappy, hardly working app.

Only way it would work was to delete app and reinstall. Got through 90% of an episode of Amazing Race and crashed again. Tried delete, reinstall and re login... crash. I have two new AppleTVs and this app crashes on both. BS paying a premium for this app that crashes constantly. It doesnt work! Check the twenty crash reports that I sent! Argh!

Terrible app. If youre paying for a subscription, you shouldnt have to watch so many commercials. Ive been trying to cancel my account for 20 minutes now & the website keeps crashing.

This is a complete waste of time and money. I have tried to remove myself from this app several times and never get a response. It makes me not want to watch anything on CBS at all! Do not get this app!!

When it works its great. Love all the shows but it seems to not want to work lately. It tells me there is an error and cant watch anything. Very frustrating and its been happening more and more. Plus you have to sign into it constantly from your phone. Great app just wish it would work better.

I was completely surprised at how much this app really lacked in providing a really good customer experience. I understand that a lot of the news outlets and content providers really want to maximize their profits and all that. But you dont gain loyalty by not investing - or at least approaching - the design of an app and centering it on how good the customer will feel. The design, especially for content providers, means putting the customer at the center of everything they do. And while I have to imagine that they realize consumers already pay for cable… This is asking them to fork out more money. And the experience is already terrible on a basic level. If I had to guess, Im assuming that this is about readings and who has control over information on that. I would gladly give out my demographic information if the act was designed well and gave me what I wanted. But having me to pay for a terrible experience is such a turn off. I just happened to go back to the app to see if things changed. And unfortunately, it hasnt. And while I understand this model will work for this company for a little while. In the long run, it cannot.

My cbs app will not come on?

Yes, this app is Spam! It has a tease of a tv show, makes you pay a subscription fee, and you get Spam! When you are tired of Spam! You can have some bugs, because it is full of it!

Poor implementation on Apple TV 4. Does not allow pause/play using included remote as well as not working using the Remote App! This Service also violates the CALM Act by streaming Loud Commercials!

First of all all I wanted to do was watch two episodes of something that was free on your website. First in the mobile version of the website it wont let you do anything until you download the app. Then I went to the full site and it would only play the first two commercials then stop? So I decide to download the app and once I get to the show I want to watch I want to skip ahead to the spot I was at before. But every time I drag the cursor forward I have to watch 2 fricken minutes of commercials before I can even see if Im in the right spot???? And I wasnt even dragging it forward enough to overlap the next commercial spot, just overtime I tough it its 2 minutes of commercials. Over all pretty basic stuff here. Not that hard to fix as everyone else has so either your trying to make it as annoying as possible so people will sign up for your service or it just incompetence. Either way doesnt reflect best on you as major network company. Its this kind of setup is shady stuff thats the reason nobody trust your company anymore. Horrific customer service. Literally the worst app ever

I got this app just so I could watch all the past Survivor,s even though I have never missed an episode . I payed extra so that I would not get commercials. Well worth the extra$. When you try to push on the show it wiggles around and you have to keep finding your show. When it stop its wiggle there is always an add pops up. If you say you dont wat to see this add it just pops up a new one.today it wont even open. If it would work I would love it. Up to season # 11. Please fix this app. I really want to give you 5 stars

I already pay for your service via my satellite provider and I am assuming tons more users do as well and you want me to pay more to use your app....other major networks let me use their app for free for paying for their service via my TV provider...bad app deleted...other networks have 4 stars or higher on their app...
